just got back from Boom festival (and after Utopia).
really intense time
I arrived from the solitaire winter in the bush in oz to…..20.000 ppl and bloody hot portugal summer (and no shade on my tent)
many friends…some I haven’t seen for 10 years.

the ambient paradise stage was excellent..great job Moreno and Paulo…thanks again.

I had the honor to be the “filler” dj between Dr.Nojoke and Murcof…and I did enjoy my djset a lot.

and while I was doing the spacemix I started 2 remixes…or versions…or whatever you want to call it…from Moreno’s album MPC just released on Bakshish Music.

this is the first one.

I used as sources 4 tracks from it ( Session #99 / 4drums /scramble 2001 / fishing…you can ck them in the soundcloud player of the album)…and added drums and FM synths. (loving Operator more and more).
this is a first take…recorded live (no timeline) in Ableton using the launchpad and many knobs.

A collection of alternative mixes and previously unreleased tracks (apart of “after b4″ previously included in the comp “Future Memories” by Interchill Records), recorded and mixed between 2005 and 2007 and just remastered.
Guests on this release are Shiranami, Housemaker, Craig Organismic and Greg Hunter.

Wiggly music out of the grid of the usual tags…slow funky heavy beats layered with intense dark atmospheres and dubtronic echoes…a free range electronica without boundaries that explores soundscapes out of the map.
Uncertain futures, infinite possibilities, a multifaced raw reality escaping scientific glossy reason, there is no right choice and sometime the wrong way brings you to the right place in time….just before the announced apocalypse.

mauxuam is an experienced space navigator who lost his way home, a global gipsy and an unpredictable manouvrer.
He has been turning knobs and tweaking sounds for the past 25 years on many diverse and obscure projects.
He released the “controversial” album Viceversa in 2008 for Interchill Records (one of the best albums of that year for Mix Master Morris), and he is currently working on the online project Cloudcycle in collaboration with Greg Hunter and Master Margherita. Together with them he founded the collective Bakshish Music.
